Activation Error: Encountered a Problem

During the online activation process, you may encounter the following error:

This is a very generalized error and there could be numerous reasons why it's happening. Most often, it's because of a security setting on  your system that denies access to our server for the activation. To correct this, send us a Manual Activation Request so we can investigate the source of the problem or provide you with an Activation Key for an offline activation.
